Speaking at PechaKucha

Nolan Pillay, one of South Africa's top motivational speakers

Nolan’s Super Power is Serving Humanity!

We know that it is, Nolan. We see the projects you are working on and how your Humanitarian service has increased in the last few months.

Thanks for noticing! What can I say, I love what I do.

This time I am stepping up my speaking abilities even more, I have been invited to speak at PechaKucha.

Pecha what…how do you even pronounce that? Well go online and search for the pronunciation as it’s a little difficult to record it as I am also learning about it.

Okay, tell us more.

PechaKucha is a global storytelling platform that celebrates people, passion, and creative thought. All speakers share ideas and connect with others visually, concisely and memorably.

For me, redefining authentic human connectivity through inclusive social engagement and technology is important.

– Learn how to influence others with storytelling. In a PechaKucha Storytelling Programme, you’ll learn how to create compelling stories that influence audiences and evoke feelings.

– Inspire an audience to take action. Work with us to help you solicit positive responses and inspire audiences toward something new!

Overcome Fear of Public Speaking. Gain a process for facing the fear of public speaking. Let’s learn the methods of PechaKucha experts and build upon them.

PechaKucha was built on a simple idea with endless potential: everyone has something unique to share, and of course, YOU do, too!

How Does It Work?

The PechaKucha 20×20 presentation format is a slide show of 20 images, each auto-advancing after 20 seconds. It’s non-stop, and you’ve got 400 seconds (6m40s) to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way.

PechaKucha was created in Japan in 2003 by renowned architects, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham. The word “PechaKucha” is Japanese for “chit-chat.”

So, what’s your story? What are you most passionate about?

Allow me to motivate you.
